My sister and I will be in Disney World for Thanksgiving this year. Do you know which restaurants will be serving a Thanksgiving meal and if any will be carving a whole turkey, so there will be dark meat?

Hello to my fellow Pennsylvanian! Wendy, it’s so nice to have you visit planDisney again! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year! I can’t imagine a “turkey day” without, well, turkey!

My hands-down favorite Disney Dining location for Thanksgiving Day is Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom Park! Here you will find a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. The Patriot’s Platter will not disappoint! You will enjoy all-you-care-to-enjoy holiday favorites such as turkey, pot roast, pork, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, vegetables, and stuffing!

Just when you think there is “no room” left, the Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake is served! Vanilla ice cream with drizzled chocolate sauce sits atop vanilla toffee cake. It is the perfect ending to your Thanksgiving feast!

Wendy, due to its menu and Americana theme, Liberty Tree Tavern is very popular on Thanksgiving Day. I highly recommend making reservations as soon as you can do so. Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can make reservations 60 days before their vacation check-in date. As a great perk, they can make reservations for up to 10 days of their vacation. Guests not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can make reservations 60 days before their preferred dining date. You can begin making reservations at 6:00 AM on your 60-day mark!

I hope you and your sister have a delicious Thanksgiving visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Dreams do come true!
