Me and my sister r comming for 10 days staying at art of animation,we have put aside 1 day to go shopping at the florida mall.what would b the best way to get there and back dont want to hire a car.thanks

Hi, Charlotte!  There are two fairly easy ways to get to the Florida Mall from the Walt Disney World resort area.  The first is by taxi, which you can get right at your resort.  The fee from the resort to the mall, however, is pretty steep at anywhere from $50 to $60, depending on traffic.

Your second option is the Lynx bus.  There are two locations where you can pick up a Lynx bus in the resort area.  The first one is just across the street from Downtown Disney Marketplace.  You'll want to cross the street where the road curves down to Hotel Plaza Boulevard, and the bus stop is right there.  The other option is at the Transportation and Ticket Center at the Magic Kingdom.  Head to the Magic Kingdom, and just beyond where the Walt Disney World buses park, there is a stop for the Lynx bus.  Ask a castmember when you are there to direct you.

Lynx is about a 30 minute ride, one way, and each person is $2 in each direction.  If you plan to leave more often than just the one day, they have a weekly pass that runs just under $20 for unlimited trips per person.

Have a wonderful vacation, and enjoy the shopping!
