chEARs Shelley!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We just finished celebrating my husband’s birthday at
Disney’s BoardWalk Villas and loved our stay! The entire
Resort (Inn & Villas) is delightful, with whimsical nods to early 1900s Coney Island, and the best thing is its location, location, location! A five-minute walk to the right and you are at Epcot’s International Gateway. Ten minutes in the other direction and you can step in line with Stormtroopers at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
The
rooms are comfortable and spacious. Each has a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and complimentary
H2O brand toiletries. The Sea Marine is my favorite smell! Don’t worry about packing shampoo, lotion, etc., Mousekeeping will happily replenish the toiletries during your stay.
Speaking of Epcot, you are arriving just in time for the start of the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival! This is my annual must-do activity! (I’m serious; I attend every year. My favorite attraction at Walt Disney World is the FOOD, so the
Festival is my TOP attraction!). You might also be one of the first lucky Guests to ride the skies on the
Disney Skyliner, slated to open this Fall! We were on property yesterday and spent a few minutes watching the test runs. They are going to be a super fun and super convenient way to travel across the ‘Worid!
Back at your Resort, there are so many fun things to do, especially at
Disney's BoardWalk. We had so much fun watching Resort Guests try to navigate the
Surrey Bikes that we decided we are renting one next visit! We also really enjoyed our
Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno. Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider greet you as you enjoy a delicious breakfast. The clamshell pastries are so buttery and flaky that I dream about them regularly!
Shelley, I know you are going to have a
magical stay. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back!
