    my sister will be celebrating her 1st anniv. when we are there.What rest. do you recommend for the two of them? Looking for a signature restaurant on the plan. I reserved Cali Grill for them, but are thinking that is not the best choice for a 1st anniv.

    Hi John!  How exciting for your sister to be celebrating her first Anniversary during your upcoming Walt Disney World Vacation! I definitely think that California Grill is an excellent choice for an Anniversary Celebration! California Grill is a Signature Dining restaurant that serves award-winning gourmet dinners and offers guests breathtaking views of Seven Seas Lagoon or Cinderella Castle. After enjoying an amazing dinner, the special couple can enjoy Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from the private observation deck on the 15th floor!  I can honestly say that watching Wishes from this vantage point makes for a truly magical and memorable experience! Another favorite Signature Restaurant is Jiko - The Cooking Place at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Jiko has a relaxed, intimate atmosphere and infuses the bold flavors of traditional African, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine.  I do not consider myself very adventurous when choosing entrees at restaurants and there are so many items on the menu that appealed to me. The Filet at Jiko was simply amazing!  After enjoying a delicious dinner, guests can enjoy a romantic stroll outside the main Lobby to catch an up close glimpse of the exotic animals on the Savannah. Both of these Signature Restaurants are on the Disney Dining Plan. I hope this helps in making your decision!  Thanks for visiting the Mom's Panel.
