Disneyland- Mainstreet Station

    My sister & I are attending the Disneyland After Dark: Princess Nite. We were interested in doing the Walt’s Main Street Story Tour. I have read that you need a park admission to reserve a tour so would our Special Event admission tickets suffice?

    Thank you so much for coming to us with your question. I'm so excited for you and your sister to experience Disneyland After Dark: Princess Nite! This will be the first year that this event is held, so we're all looking forward to seeing what special things are in store! And what a wonderful idea to combine your visit with Walt's Main Street Story tour. 

    Your ticket to Princess Nite allows you entry into Disneyland at 6 p.m., so you and your sister can experience all the attractions, dining, and shopping that the Park has to offer before your party begins at 9 p.m. According to the schedule, the final tour for Walt's Main Street Story departs at 2 p.m., so I do not believe it would be possible to experience both items in the same day with just the Special Event ticket. You would need to purchase a separate admission to Disneyland in order to enter the Park earlier, or book the tour on another Park day. 

    Have you read the Disney Parks Blog article detailing all there is to do at Princess Nite? Be sure to make good use of Disney's PhotoPass opportunities as unlimited downloads are included with your ticket. I certainly hope you get to experience Walt's Main Street Story as well. I have visited Walt's Apartment and it is an incredibly moving experience! It's an exciting time to visit, as Disneyland will be in the midst of a one year Disney100 Celebration and Mickey's Toontown is set to reopen on March 8!
