Is the single-rider line for Millennium Falcon open during Extra, Extra Magic Hours?

Greetings, fellow traveler Steven! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When my family and I visited Walt Disney World Resort a couple of weeks ago (for the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge grand opening weekend), the Single Rider Line for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run was open at all times. Of course, this is subject to change at any time, but that was our experience that weekend.

Although the Single Rider Line is an excellent way to enjoy a lower wait time for this attraction, it is honestly worth it to go through the standby queue just to see all of the amazing details the Imagineers have included. I was blown away by the attention to detail of not just the Millennium Falcon, but all of the other “gadgets and gizmos” inside Hondo’s shop. The first time we enjoyed the attraction, we waited just over an hour together as a family and enjoyed looking around and taking everything in (while also seeing what we could find using our Play Disney Parks Mobile App).

Please keep in mind that certain positions on the Millennium Falcon’s crew will also be harder to come by in the Single Rider Line, as Pilots and typically Gunners will come from the standby queue. This was my experience four of the five times I enjoyed this attraction via the Single Rider Line. All of the positions on the crew are amazing, though, and I’m sure you and your Party will love helping Hondo with his mission.

Enjoy your visit to Batuu, Steven! Please let us know if there are any additional questions we can answer for you.
