I am a single Parent traveling with two children ages 9 and 12. If one of my children does not want to ride a particular ride and the other child does. Is there a program in place that allows me to ride with one while the other waits or do I have to forgo

    Babette,

There is no formal program that addresses this situation, it's just your own judgement call on what you are comfortable with.  There are often benches near the rides where a child could wait for you, and cast members are always at the ride entrances.  They will not 'babysit' for you.  Don't want to give the wrong impression there.  I mention it only because it may make you feel better, but they are there to do a different job and they won't be able to watch your child.

The only similar information I could find was on a website called Latchkey-kids.com, which states that Florida has no law governing the age at which a child can be left home alone.  Obviously this is a different scenario, but it's the closest I could come up with.

    Hope that helps a bit!
