Welcome back, Kenyatta! I see that my fellow Disney Cruise Line Mom, Beth, has already told you all about the fabulous Cruisin' Solo events that take place throughout each sailing, so I hope you take advantage of those fun opportunities! Now, dining at
Palo... I cannot rave enough about this Adult Exclusive Northern Italian themed restaurant. It is my favorite and I never miss an opportunity to dine there!
Be sure to log into your cruise reservation as soon as your window for online check-in opens (75 days prior for
first time cruisers). The reservations at Palo are very popular, so they do book up quickly. Once you've chosen your reservation day and time, it's super easy to arrive and "be their guest" as you savor luxurious course after course! Do save room for the chocolate souffle! It's a Palo specialty and simply not to be missed!
Your kiddos have lots of dining options on the night you head to Palo. Join them for your regular dining seating, and then drop them off at the
youth clubs while you head to Palo. My kids think it's a treat when I order dinner for them from the complimentary Room Service menu, so they can eat and watch a Disney movie in the stateroom while we're getting ready, so consider that too! There are also dinner hours in the Youth Clubs for the kids to eat there! Usually the hours are 5:45-6:30, but check your Personal Navigator for specifics. Eating an earlier casual meal at Cabanas or one of the quick service locations on the pool deck is an easy option for them too, so you don't have to sit through a full meal when you're not eating. And, I warn you, do not eat beforehand. You will want to save lots of room for the abundance of culinary treats that Palo's chefs have in store for you!
Have an amazing dining experience, Kenyatta!
