Hi Garyn,
I am excited that you are planning a magical trip to Disney World for your kids. When my kids were that little, Disney World was a perfect vacation destination because there is so much to do there that truly includes everyone! I promise you will be overjoyed at how much there is to do and will love seeing your kids experience it together.
Magic Kingdom is my favorite theme park when traveling with little ones because there
are over 30 rides and attractions that the whole family can experience together. For me, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, "it's a small world", and the Jungle Cruise are must-dos for your whole crew. There is easily enough to fill 2 days at Magic Kingdom even without being able to experience the bigger coasters.
EPCOT has a
whole world of attractions for you to explore with favorites like The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Turtle Talk With Crush, Frozen Ever After, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, and Spaceship Earth. A lot of people worry that EPCOT is a little too adult for the little ones, but my kids love exploring the full-size aquarium, all of the different country's exhibits with fun kid-centric activities, and running through the new interactive Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana in addition to all of the rides offered for their age.
If you love a good zoo experience, then Animal Kingdom also has a
ton to offer for the whole family. In addition to the iconic Kilimanjaro Safaris where you venture onto the savanna to see all of the animals that live there, you can also ride the Wildlife Express Train to a petting zoo and art experience where the kids get to learn from an animator. I also love taking an adventure to Avatar to ride the Na'vi River Journey and get some snacks at
Pongu Pongu.
Finally, Hollywood Studios has a whole section dedicated to Toy Story and Star Wars where the magic comes to life. We love exploring the immersive areas here but the
rides for little ones are a bit more limited but still include favorites like Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway and Toy Story Mania!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
