Hi there, Trista!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting for your twins to celebrate their 7th birthday at the
Walt Disney World Resort! I've always found the "The Most Magical Place on Earth" to be the perfect vacation destination for a birthday celebration.
As a mom of four children which includes twin boys, I'm happy to assist you with this question. My husband and I have often used the "divide and conquer" strategy when visiting with our four Mouseketeers. I have ridden many attractions with just my youngest two. Many of the thrill
attractions feature ride vehicles in which riders sit side by side. When riding thrill attractions with this configuration, I always let the twins sit together, and I will sit in the ride vehicle just behind them. I've never encountered any issues when doing so as long as they meet the minimum height requirement for that attraction. When my twins were younger, we usually found that the three of us could sit together on many of the slower rides. I believe you will find it to be very easy to experience the attractions with your 7-year-old twins.
Be sure to pick up your twins a birthday celebration button at your Disney Resort hotel or Guest Relations inside the theme parks. They will love all the birthday wishes they will receive on their special day.
Specialty cakes can also be delivered to select Table-Service restaurants or to the rooms at Disney Resort hotels.
I hope this information is helpful to you, Trista. If you have any additional questions, please visit us again. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!
Happy Planning,
Jodie
