Single Mom taking 7 & 5 1/2 yo boys next summer. Are there rides where both would need to sit next to an adult? or would they be able to sit together and me behind them? My youngest should be over 40in by then.

    Hi Sarah,

There are a huge variety of ride configurations at Walt Disney World. Nearly every attraction has a different type of vehicle and a different way of seating guests. But to answer your question, I can't think of a single ride where both children would need to be seated next to an adult.

There's a very complete discussion of the ride seating situation on the independent website blog.touringplans.com. Search there for an article called, "Avoiding the Odd Man Out at Walt Disney World." You should find great comfort there that the rides at Walt Disney World will be able to accommodate your family very nicely.

    Have a great trip!
