I am a single mom. My son is 3 and he has a developmental delay. We are on a tight budget and was looking at one of the value resorts for 3-4 nights. I'd like to know if it's worth going to the parks each day or if there are things at the hotel resort.

Thanks for the question Amy! There is so much to do at Walt Disney World in addition to the theme parks! First off, I highly recommend the value resorts, especially if you are on a budget. We just returned from a moderate resort, and my daughter asked if we can stay at the All Stars again next time. The All Star Music resort has fantastic pool-side activities during the days for kids of all ages, and show a Disney movie by the pool at night. Guests of any of the All Star Resorts can enjoy these activities.

We also enjoy spending time at Downtown Disney and the Boardwalk. Your son might also enjoy playing mini golf at Winter/ Summerland. These are just a few ideas. Please write back if you have any other questions as you plan your holiday.
