    I am now a single mom and am planning our next WDW vacation. This will be our 5th trip to WDW, but the 1st time we will be traveling without the kids' (ages 10, 8, 6) dad. What tips/advice can you give me on how to tour WDW as as a single parent?

    Hi Michelle! I too am a single parent, but to one 12 year old, not three! You are going to have the best time with your kids at Disney World, creating memories they will never forget!

    Disney cast members are there to help you and are extremely willing, so be sure to take them up on it, whether it's carrying your tray to your table at a counter service or carrying your bags to your room. A few other ideas:
    - I highly recommend getting to the parks right at opening time and take advantage of the early Extra Magic Hours, where you can enjoy less crowds in the theme parks.
    - Make a reservation for a character meal - your kids will love the one on one character interaction. And the meals are great! If you choose one that offers a buffet, you know your whole family will find something they love to eat!
    - Be sure to reserve any table service meals, including character meals, in advance, so you can avoid disappointment. Call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463) or book dining reservations online, starting 180 days before your arrival.
    - Ask people to take your pictures so you can all be in the shots. Either use the PhotoPass Service, or ask the photopass photographers to take pictures with your camera    .
    - To save time avoid line ups at check-in, be sure to use the on-line check-in service.
