As a single mom I'm wondering what are my options if 1 of my children wants to go on a ride with me and the other doesn't they said the other would wait at the end of the ride but they are 10 and 8 don't want them alone in a huge crowd. Thanks

Hi Michelle!  Thanks so much for allowing me to help you plan your vacation!  As a single mom, I do share your dilemma!  At one point, one of my kids was willing to do all the scary rides, while the other was a bit of a worry wart.  Most rides at Disney offer a "child swap" section, where the other child can wait for you to ride the attraction.  Or, you can walk your child through the queue and let the Cast Member know that your child would like to wait for you to finish the ride.  If both the kids are willing to go on an attractions and wish to sit together, there are options for you to sit behind them, or in the following car.  Ultimately, Disney is a very safe place for children and families, however, comfort levels vary from parent to parent.

There is also the option of hiring a "mothers helper" to accompany you to the parks and attractions.  An extremely reputable company, which is a WDW preferred provider is Kids Nite Out.  At a cost of $18.50 per hour (2 children) you can reserve an helper who will stay with you and the kids and assist you throughout as long as you need them.  This has been a great tool to some moms who require the additional eyes and help that a helper can bring, and KNO has been exemplary in service!  You can access more KNO information at their independent website, Kidsniteout.com

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation and from one single mom to another: You're doing an awesome job!!!
