Hi Tracy!
Your crew is going to love all that a Disney ship has to offer! The ship is truly a destination in itself, and your kids are going to have a blast exploring every inch of it! With everything that is included, it is an incredible value for your money!
Unpacking once and waking up each morning with a different spectacular view is the beauty of cruising!
Port Adventures are a fantastic way to get a taste of what the ports of call have to offer.
DisneyCruise.com lets you filter through them by adventure type and includes a very detailed description of what to expect. You will want to pre-book your excursion ahead of time because some will sell out. You can book anywhere from 2-75 days prior to cruising. But, to reserve your activity 75 days ahead of time, your cruise must be paid in full.
If you are thinking of a little pampering, I would suggest booking a spa treatment for the ultimate relaxation time onboard. Spa experiences such as the amazing Tropical Rainforest can also be reserved ahead of time or anytime during your sailing!
I always like to go ahead and pre-register for the kids' programming as well. When you access your cruise reservation on
DisneyCruise.com you will have the option to do this when you are in the Planning Center under "My Cruise Activities." This is also where you will book all the onboard fun I described above!
If you are looking for some advice about traveling as a single parent, you might try a Google search to find a group that meets those needs.
If you have any more questions, I'm glad to help!
Nancy
