For Single Lightning Lanes before your trip, do you need to book the same ones for my whole party (i.e, family of 4).We plan to buy TRON for my husband and oldest child, but me and our youngest don’t want to ride it. If we do, will a refund be available?

    Hello, Lindsay!

What enchanting news to hear that your husband and oldest are ready to embark on a journey with Team Blue and dive into the mesmerizing world of TRON Lightcycle / Run! The first time my family experienced that thrill, we were fortunate enough to ride in the front row—truly a moment woven into the fabric of our Disney memories, and one my kiddos still cherish.

With Lightning Lane Single Pass, you can definitely purchase for just the members of your party eager to experience the excitement. Simply open the My Disney Experience mobile app, select the Lightning Lane section, and choose your date and park. From there, you can pick the Lightning Lane Single Pass for TRON Lightcycle / Run and select only those who wish to partake. You’ll then be able to choose the most magical arrival window to align with your park plans (subject to availability, of course).

If your heart desires to purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the entire family, just a gentle reminder: you’ll need to complete the Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Multi Pass transactions separately. Also, should you wish to book different multi pass experiences for you and your youngest, you can easily modify your selections in the app! You’ll start by choosing the same attractions and arrival windows for everyone, but once the magic is set and the purchase complete, you can adjust experiences for some members of your party as you wish, allowing everyone to enjoy their own adventures. (Subject to availability.)

And here’s a sprinkle of extra magic: don’t forget about Rider Switch! This delightful service is perfect for families with little ones who may not be ready for the more exhilarating attractions. While your husband and oldest ride, you can stay with your youngest. Then, when it’s your turn, you can glide right onto the attraction without waiting in the standard queue, even bringing your oldest along as your guest. This gem made our park visits extra special when my youngest were small and our oldest was eager to ride all of the thrilling experiences!

Wishing you an enchanting vacation, Lindsay! If you need any more assistance planning your dream adventure, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I hope your husband and son revel in the magic of TRON Lightcycle / Run as much as my family did! Go Team Blue!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
