Ahoy Gregory!
You have made a wonderful choice for your vacation plans for your family! My kids are also three years apart and both cruised at the ages of four and seven so I know you will have an unforgettable experience on the Disney Magic when it is your turn to set sail!
There will be lots of options for the three of you to enjoy together. Your cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator, will list all the ship's happenings so be sure to pay close attention to the FAMILY rows each day. The cruise staff does an amazing job of offering activities such as the Playhouse Disney Party, family crafts, game shows, dance parties, deck parties, first-run movies, guest entertainers, and Broadway-style shows. There are also "Open House" times offered in the Oceaneer Club and Lab that allows parents to accompany their children to enjoy either free time or planned programming. Wii games, Ratatouille Cooking School, board games, parachute games, and crafts are just a sampling of what you might get to experience with your children while visiting.
Although not as speedy as on land,
internet is available onboard the Disney ships. There are WiFi hotspots around the ship such as the Cove Cafe that usually offer better connectivity. Pricing is always subject to change so my advice is to stop by Guest Services to pick up an Internet Information sheet upon boarding. Also, the Disney Magic has a small internet cafe you can use if you don't want bring your laptop onboard.
I hope my answers are helpful, Gregory! Please let me know if I can help you further!
Have a magical day!
Nancy
