    Single Dad coming down with his son (11 years old). Are there any groups that pair up so my son won't be forced to have me as his companion all week :) ?

    Hi John,

    Unfortunately there are no kids meet up sessions in the parks. However, you could put him in one of the childcare centers in the deluxe resorts. These are basically group babysitting, with movies, video games, and craft projects. There's no guarantee that there would be boys his age, but it's worth a shot. You can find out more about the childcare centers by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

    My girls have also made friends sometimes at the pools at our resort. If your son is social, he may be able to get in on a game of catch in one of the pools. Or often there are organized poolside games. Take a look at your resort info packet at check-in time.

    My guess is that you'll be so busy having a great time that your son won't even notice that he's hanging out with Dad :-)
