Hey there, hi there, Laurie!
You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
I, too, believe singing is not only for the shower and love karaoke-ing anywhere I can, especially with friends who don’t take it too seriously! I’m so excited you’re planning on having a magical karaoke night full of lots of Disney tunes!
Laurie, I called and spoke to a Cast Member at Guest Services for you and was told although the TVs at
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort have HDMI ports, they do not have the streaming technology. Two Disney Resorts Collection hotels that provide streaming services are
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and
Disney’s Riviera Resort.
If you have the same type of Bluetooth mic that I have, which has its own built-in speaker, the mic may be able to connect to any smart device, such as your phone or a tablet. I have connected the mic to my own phone during parties, and it’s worked really well. In addition, thanks to the
Walt Disney World Resort’s complimentary Wi-Fi, once you’ve connected your mic to your phone, all you’ll need to do is simply search on YouTube for the karaoke version of your favorite songs, and you’re all set to sing your hEARt out!
When you want to channel your inner Hannah Montana and don’t mind performing in front of others, I recommend checking out
Kimonos Lounge at
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, which offers nightly karaoke and serves up popular tunes along with snacks and drinks!
I hope you have the most enchanting time, Laurie! Here’s to a vacation full of magical mic-drop moments!
