When signing up for Disney marathon can I pay with checking account online?

Hello, Eddie, and thanks for stopping by planDisney! I completed my first runDisney event a couple of years ago, but it was no marathon. I admire you for taking on that challenge, so let's look at your payment options for runDisney races.

The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend 2025 registration opened this week, so I hope you successfully snagged a spot if this is the event you're training for. Some of my pals said the registration process took as much speed and stamina as the race!

If you plan to register for any future races, the accepted forms of payment include a credit card, Disney Gift Card, or Disney Rewards Card. Just to let you know, you can only use one form of payment, so be sure that if you use a gift card, it has enough funds to cover the fees. Splitting payment is not currently an option.

My other tip for preparing for registration morning is to have all your pertinent information written down, such as your estimated pace and tee-shirt size. If you're registering any other runners, you'll need all of their information, as well. When it's your turn to enter the site, it pays to be ready to sprint!

runDisney events are unique and special, so my strategy is to take it all in. I don't always get a personal best, but seeing Spaceship Earth glowing in the pre-dawn sky is a sight I treasure. Maybe I'll see you out there sometime!

Eddie, I hope your next Walt Disney World Resort visit includes a runDisney event. Stop by planDisney anytime because we'll be cheering you on!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
