Hi moms, we have signed up for W&D 5k as this is my grans first run we would like to celebrate with breakfast. Do you know when rundisney is likely to announce where the run will be so we can plan where to eat, also if you have any good places to eat

    Hi Amy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are going to create the most magical memories with your Gran while running the Disney Fall Feast 5K!

This race in the past has taken place at Disney's Animal Kingdom, but this can change from year to year so it's not a guarantee for this year. I'd continue to check back on the runDisney website for the location to be updated and confirmed. This should happen quite a few months in advance so I'd expect it soon! In addition to that, the runDisney team will release a Digital Event Guide a couple weeks before the event where you'll be able to see the complete course map.

The great thing about the runDisney 5K events is with the time they start and the distance of the race you'll likely finish before the parks open! Some runners head straight to the parks after the event, while others prefer to go back to their hotel and shower and relax a bit before heading out. I'd book your Advanced Dining Reservation for breakfast based on what y'all plan to do. If you plan to go back to your resort and for example are staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, I certainly wouldn't miss the Tonga Toast at Kona Cafe. If you plan on heading straight to Magic Kingdom, I think The Crystal Palace would be a great spot for y'all to celebrate!

If you'd like  specific recommendations based on your plans post race please come back and let me know! I'll be sending pixie dust your way for your race!
