    I signed up for the Summer Room offer. One of the perks is a $15.00 digital gift card per day. #1 Is the entire stay pre-loaded at the beginning for the entire stay OR do we get $15 added each night? Where can I use this gift card???

    Hi, Linda! There are so many amazing Special Offers that pop up each season. Some offers may provide a discounted Walt Disney World Resort guest room, some may offer a sweet deal on a Disney Resort Hotel Package, and some even offer Free Disney Dining. When planning our visits to The Most Magical Place on Earth, I pop by that Special Offers page and see what I can find to make our trip pixie-dusted!

    I am so glad to hEAR you were able to take advantage of the Enchanting Summer Room offer. This offer is especially magical because not only will you get a great price on your room, you also get a digital Disney Gift Card with a preloaded amount, based on the level of resort you are staying and on how many nights you stay. Looking over the qualifications of this Special Offer, I see that since you are staying at a Disney Value Resort, you will receive a $15 Disney Gift Card per night of your total stay. You will receive the whole amount as soon as you check in at the resort, which means you can use it as soon as you like or even spread it out over each day. If you complete Online Check-In, then your digital Disney Gift Card will be emailed to you the day you check in. The email will contain a bar code that can be scanned for use. If you prefer, you can head over to the Disney Gift Card website and transfer the balance of that digital card over to another Disney Gift Card you already have.

    Disney Gift Cards can be used pretty much everywhere across Walt Disney World Resort, such as merchandise, dining, and snack locations. There are actually very limited spots that I have stumbled across that are unable to process this form of payment. I usually just use my MagicBand to charge all purchases to our room and then stop by the Front Desk every couple of days and pay down our balance with our Disney Gift Cards.
