We have signed up to do the Dolphin Swim on Blue Lagoon, 9:30 time slot. The actual swim is only about 30 mins long however the entire excursion is listed as 4.5-5 hrs. Does this excursion allow for beach time while there? How frequently do boats return?

    Ahoy Stephanie!
Welcome back to the Moms Panel!  You have a great question about your dolphin experience on Blue Lagoon Island.  After you have an amazing time interacting and swimming with your dolphin, you will have an opportunity to stay on the island to enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and splashtacular fun with their water rentals.  There is food and drink available for purchase as well.  If you choose to stay, there will be several ferries available during the afternoon.  On past sailings, they have run about every hour starting around 1:00.  When your Blue Island group meets, be sure to check with the Port Adventure staff to double check the return times for your excursion
I hope this helps with your plans, Stephanie!  Please let me know if you have any further questions!
    Have a magical day!
