I have signed up for the Disney World half marathon in Jan 2020. What are the host resorts for this event?

Hi there, Annie! The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend attracts over 100,000 runners from around the globe each January. The Walt Disney World Half Marathon course is a favorite of mine, as you'll get to run a portion of those 13.1 magical miles through Magic Kingdom Park, meeting some of your favorite Disney Characters along the way!

The good news is that all of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels are Host Resorts, including the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels and Shades of Green. I personally love staying on property as transportation to the race weekend is included for all Guests staying at a Host Resort, and this helps to alleviate the stress associated with getting to your corral on time. The lobbies and front desks at all the hotels will have signage with transportation and race information, and there is always excitement buzzing in the air.  If you've never run a runDisney race before, Annie, I promise you'll be hooked!

Annie, if you need any more advice about your upcoming runcation, remember we're all EARs here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
