Signature Plus renewal available up to 40 days prior before May 11, 2019. Trip planned for Florida May 4,2020. I want the Premiere Pass upgrade to last for a year. Will I be admitted to Disney Florida if I upgrade in April 2020. Will the upgrade last 1 yr.

Hi Lori! It sounds like you've been enjoying all the benefits that come with the Disney Signature Plus Passport at Disneyland Resort.

Upgrading to the Disney Premier Passport would be twice as nice, as this Annual Pass is the ultimate golden ticket to Disney magic, and it allows you to visit Mickey 365 days a yEAR on both coasts! However, unlike other Disneyland Annual Passports, the Premier Pass can only be purchased in-person at the Parks.

Since your current Annual Pass expires May 11, 2019, you'll be eligible for renewal 40 days prior, and you get to pick whichever level pass you'd like for the next yEAR.  If you're upgrading your passport, the new level of benefits will immediately kick-in upon the expiration of your old Annual Pass. Keep in mind that your renewed Annual Pass will expire one year from your Anniversary Date, regardless of when you renew. The Disneyland website will show that your existing Passport is expiring soon, and on the day it expires, your Annual Pass renewal will automatically activate and display your new year of availability. Next yEAR, you'll be eligible again for renewal in April 2020, but your Disney Premier Passport will remain active until your Anniversary Date (May 11, 2020), so feel free to enjoy the magic at Walt Disney World until then.

Speaking of 2020, you must be getting excited about Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opening in Disneyland this summer! You'll be the envy of many hardcore Disney fans when you get to experience it again in Florida! By the time you arrive, the Skyliner Gondolas will be up and running, and Disney's Riviera Resort will be welcoming Guests.

I hope I've answered your question, Lori. If not, please write back and we'd be happy to help.
