    How do you sign up to receive postcards from the characters prior to your visit? A friend & I and our fam's are going in Dec, and her son (5) has rec'd 2 postcards, but my DD (4) has not. Did I miss signing up for something somewhere?

    Hi, Amanda!  The most official way to have a postcard sent to your child is to have your child send a letter to her favorite character to this address:

    Walt Disney World Communications
    P.O. Box 10040
    Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-0040

    I do know of other online forums and email lists that have a Pixie Dust Postcard program.  Members of the group will take some addresses with them, and then send postcards to those children while on their Walt Disney World vacation.  I'm not sure if your friend has those types of connections, but that's another way to get character postcards.
