How do you sign up for the free tours of the certain resorts? Also, we are staying on property, but the resort we are staying can not be toured. So are we still allowed to get the tour of the other resorts? Please and Thank you for all of your hlep

    Hi Megan!

I LOVE the tours at the various resorts! My favorites are at the Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge.

The tour of the Wilderness Lodge is a must-do in my opinion! A ranger will take you through the various floors of the lodges and describe the different Native American and American Northwest influences on the lodge's architecture. Time permitting, you may also visit the villas to get a glimpse of the lobby architecture there and the trains which Walt loved so much. This tour is offered most mornings.

Animal Kingdom Lodge also offers tours, including a culinary tour of Boma: Flavors of Africa and Jiko: The Cooking Place. This tour is quite fun too and is usually offered in the afternoons on most days.

These tours are free and open to anyone who'd like to join in. The best way to find out when they are offered is to stop by that resort's lobby concierge and ask for a calendar of events (since times do vary with the season). Advance sign up is not required. You'll just need to meet at the location listed on the calendar.

    Hope this helps!
