Welcome aboard, Stephanie! I love hearing from other Ohio families that are getting ready to set sail with Disney Cruise Line! My family and I love to escape the chilly Ohio fall and winter to sneak south for the warm waters of the Bahamas and Caribbean too! We're already counting the weeks until our next cruise!
Your children will have so much fun in the Youth Clubs onboard the Disney Magic this fall. My kids never want to leave the clubs, as they have so many fabulous activities and events going on around the clock there! Only children who will be in the Oceaneer Club and Lab for ages three to 12 need to pre-register online for the clubs. They will then receive Oceaneer Club bands when they arrive at the port, similar to the Disney MagicBands you'd see in the Walt Disney World Resort, for use when parents check them in and out of the Youth Club spaces. You will not need to pre-register your older children for the
tween club, Edge (ages 11-14), nor the
teen club, Vibe (ages 14-17).
Once you board the ship that first day, swing by the club spaces during Open House hours so your kids can check out the fun venues created just for them, plus you can sneak a peek then too! After that, the spaces are for the kids in that age range only, no parents allowed! Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to your mobile devices before you arrive at the port, so that once onboard, you can view the schedules of events and activities. You can also use the super fun texting feature, including Disney emojis, to keep in contact with your family members on the ship!
Have fun as you continue planning your cruise, Stephanie!
