Are side by side double strollers allowed?

Hi, Claire! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question.  The Disney Parks Blog shared important information on changes to the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, specifically in reference to the types and sizes of approved strollers that are allowed at Walt Disney World Resort. As of May 1, 2019, all strollers must be no larger than 31" wide by 52" long. Double strollers are allowed, but you will need to size up your magic carpet with your measuring tape to make sure it fits within those specifications. There is not a full list of exact brands and models that will be allowed; rather, you just need to follow the guidelines set forth in the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules.

If you find that your own stroller is just a bit too large, then I recommend you either rent one at the parks or from the Disney Featured Provider. I have rented strollers many times over the years at the parks and from local vendors. I actually preferred the ones from local vendors when my girls were small. ScooterBug is the current Featured Provider and all strollers that they have in stock for rental are of the approved size.

I hope this information helps you plan your upcoming visit with your little ones! Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
