Hi Alanagh!
Thanks for bringing such a great question to planDisney! While I’m really hoping this won’t be the case and you can enjoy your trip as planned, it’s always good to know what will happen in these situations because illness is just something we can’t predict!
The theme park tickets you purchased are non-refundable, but no worries. You have some options!
You can
change the dates for your unused tickets on your My Disney Experience account or by calling the
Existing Tickets phone line. If you opt to
change them online or on your app, go to the Tickets and Passes section, find the ticket you want to change, and then follow the prompts to modify the dates.
If you have an
expired ticket, the amount you paid for that ticket may be applied toward a future ticket purchase as long as the new ticket is of equal or greater value. You can get that amount applied to a new ticket by
calling to chat with a friendly Cast Member.
Finally, if your ticket is unused, you can
reassign the ticket to someone else. You’ll follow the same steps as above by going onto your My Disney Experience account, clicking into the Tickets and Passes section, and finding the ticket you want to reassign. From there, you’ll click “Reassign Ticket” and follow the prompts.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you stay healthy, and we’ll see you real soon!
Jenn J.
