    Hi. Are the shuttles to DW at the good neighbor hotels pretty reliable, easy to access, and run continuously? When we visitied DW last year, we stayed at a Holiday Inn and the shuttle was atrocious. Unreliable, inconvenient times and arrangements, etc

    Hi Jaime and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m happy to see that you’re busy planning your family’s next magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! 

    Disney Good Neighbor hotels can provide a great place to stay when you’re visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. My family and I have stayed at a few throughout the years when we’re not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. With that said, we always drive our own car to the parks and have not relied on the hotel shuttles. I have noticed that shuttle schedules were not always very convenient for my family. Of course, it all depends on the specific hotel. You would have to call the ones you’re considering for your next visit, to see if the times are convenient for the activities you and your family would like to enjoy.

    Jaime, you could try a ride sharing service like Uber or Lyft to get to the theme parks. Leaving the theme parks may get tricky because of the spike in requests for rides at closing time. I suggest renting a car if you decide to stay off-site so that you can have all the flexibility you want to get to all the entertainment in Orlando during your visit.

    If you don’t have your heart set on a particular hotel yet, I suggest taking a look at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels available to you. There’s a resort for every budget and guests are able to enjoy lots of benefits. Number one on that list is complimentary transportation to and from each theme and water park and Disney Springs. You also receive complimentary MagicBands. That’s a ton of magic included with your Disney Resort hotel room!
