Hi , is there a shuttle service from Orlando rails station to Disneyworld. We arrive at 7pm. Should we go straight to our Disney Hotel ( Art of Animation resort ) or do we need to go to a Disney office first ? Is Disney open 24 hours ? Many thanks Ingrid

    Beverley,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

I have not been able to find any transportation companies that have a regular shuttle service that runs from the Orlando Amtrak Rail station to the different Disney Resort Hotels. What I would recommend you do is book some transportation online that can take you from the station to Disney's Art of Animation Resort before you travel to Florida. The ride itself will take about 30 minutes, and you will arrive at your home in the magic!

You have a lot of choices of transportation in Orlando but booking ahead will be a must. The rail station closes at 8 pm, so you won't want to stick around after closing. Since the advent of ride share services like Lyft and Uber, you cannot count on a string of taxis to be waiting for you when you arrive. I would suggest you look at options from some of the popular area car services, or Mears Transportation, both to figure out what it will cost, and getting it all arranged before you arrive.

I would suggest you go to the resort hotel first. You can drop off your luggage, and if there is anything you need to address in your travel plans, the Disney Cast Members at the resort's front desk can help. They are available 24 hours a day, so you can count on them as your guides to the magic!

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
