Is there a shuttle from LAX to disk and Pixar resort?

Greetings, Tanner, and welcome to planDisney! It's almost time for your special visit to the Disneyland Resort! Let's talk about step one: getting from the airport to the Happiest Place on Earth.

The Disneyland Resort doesn't currently operate a shuttle service from Los Angeles International Airport, but you have a few other options. The easiest would be to schedule a third-party shuttle service or rideshare in advance. The drive from LAX to the Disneyland Resort is around 40 miles, and the travel time varies. Based on my experience, it takes between 45 minutes and 2 hours depending on the time of day. Make sure you leave plenty of time to get back to Los Angeles for your return flight.

You can also rent a car at the airport and drive it to the Resort. There's even an Enterprise car rental office on the second floor of Pixar Place Hotel, making it easy to rent and return a vehicle.

If you prefer public transportation, you could look into taking the Metro Green Line from the LAX/Metro Transit Center to Norwalk and connecting with a Metro Route 460 bus to Anaheim from there. Another option is to take the LAX FlyAway bus from the airport to Los Angeles Union Station, where you could then catch a Metrolink or Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train to Anaheim. The train station is around three miles away from the Resort.

You'll love Pixar Place Hotel. It has such a unique combination of bold colors, whimsical art, themed décor, and references to beloved Pixar films. Truly, it's one-of-a-kind. Check with the Front Desk once you arrive to see if any Characters will be stopping by, like Bing Bong or Dug. The pool deck has an interactive game area and is a fantastic place to watch the Disneyland fireworks. My family likes this option because we can see the show and then quickly get the kids to bed.

Tanner, I hope this information is helpful as you prepare for your trip to Southern California. If you think of any other questions, please reach out. Remember that the Front Desk at the hotel and Guest Relations in the park can provide assistance, too. Together, we'll do what we can to help your trip go smoothly so you can focus on the fun.

Have a great time, and safe travels!
