Hello Kim,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for visiting us with your question.
The only thing better than a Disney Cruise Line vacation is starting it with a visit to Walt Disney World for a
Land and Sea adventure! If your cruise is sailing from Port Canaveral, you can book ground transfers from your
Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
If you have already booked your cruise, you can make your transportation reservation on the Disney Cruise Line website under the Already Booked tab, then select the
Ground Transportation link. You can also
call a Disney Cruise Line agent to book your reservation. The price is currently $45 (USD) per person each way (prices are subject to change).
On the morning of your cruise departure, pick-up times from the resort hotels to the port vary depending on the number of Guests with transportation reservations. You will receive an email 48 hours before your cruise with your hotel departure information. In my experience, you should expect to be picked up at your hotel around 9:30 a.m. One of the perks of using Disney ground transportation is that your Port Arrival Time will be assigned for you, and you will be allowed to check in for your cruise when you arrive at the port.
Kim, as you are making your
packing list, remember to pack your
government-issued ID and Port Arrival Information Form in your carry-on baggage so you will have it available when you arrive at the cruise terminal. I also recommend that you pack any medications and valuables in your carry-on.
I hope this information is helpful as you prepare for your epic vacation, Kim. Please let us know if you have other questions; we are here to help!
Wishing you magical memories,
Shannon
