Hi! are the 3D shows, like Mickey's Philarmagic, suitable for toddlers? my daughter will be 20 months old when we visit.

    Hi Heather,

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You're going to love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with your daughter. She's at that age where the attractions and Characters are going to captivate her, and it will be so much fun experiencing the magic through her eyes!

Mickey's PhilharMagic is one of my very favorite experiences at Magic Kingdom Park! I'm a mom of five children, and we have always taken our kids with us to see it, beginning when they were babies. When they were still young, we'd simply keep them on our laps, and they sometimes chose not to wear the 3D glasses. There are so many beloved Characters and scenes from familiar movies that they were enthralled, and while there are some surprises during the show, they felt safe sitting with us. Now, of course, you know your daughter best. It is a dark theater, and like I mentioned, there are some surprises, but in my experience, my little kids still enjoyed the show!

I feel like the one 3D show that I might be nervous taking a small child to see is It's Tough to be a Bug! at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I don't want to ruin any surprises, but there are a few potentially scary moments for young Mouseketeers in that show. If you decide to wait until she's a bit older for some of the 3D shows, I'd recommend taking your daughter to see Disney Junior Live On Stage at Disney's Hollywood Studios instead. She will LOVE singing and dancing along with some beloved Disney Junior friends!

Enjoy your visit with your Princess, Heather! Please let us know if you have any other questions, and have a truly magical vacation!
