Welcome back to planDisney, Christina! We’re so glad you stopped by with your question. We love helping Guests dive into the details of their upcoming stays!
As someone who’s stayed at nearly all the Disney Resort hotels, I can honestly say that Disney’s
Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa holds a special place in my heart. While it may not be steps away from the theme parks, there’s something so peaceful about the sprawling grounds and lush landscaping. Plus, the recently refreshed rooms have a charming equestrian theme that feels both elegant and relaxing.
One of the many perks of staying at this resort is that you’ll have access to all
five pools on property: two feature pools (High Rock Spring Pool and The Paddock Pool) and three leisure pools (The Grandstand, Congress Park, and Treehouse Villas). I especially love the feature pools, and they’re among the best at Walt Disney World!
Now, as for your question about showers and changing rooms: Each pool does have a basic outdoor rinse-off shower, which is perfect for a quick splash before hopping in the pool or rinsing off afterward. However, if you’re looking for a more private setup with a shower, changing area, and even amenities like soap, shampoo, and a hairdryer, you’ll want to head to the High Rock Spring Pool area or the resort’s fitness center, which are both located by the main lobby.
High Rock Spring Pool has a nearby restroom with a shower and changing space that’s perfect if you’ve already checked out of your room but want to enjoy the pool before a late flight (we do this frequently). The fitness center, which is just steps away from the main pool and open from 6 AM to 9 PM, also offers well-equipped showers and changing areas. Just bring your MagicBand or room key for access!
Whether you’re cooling off mid-day or making the most of your last few hours before departure, Saratoga Springs makes it easy to freshen up in comfort.
Wishing you a relaxing and refreshing stay, Christina!
See ya real soon,
Eean
