Which show time is better for the SOA? We are going to WDW 3/27. My first thought is that I would want the 8:00 show(fire looks better in dark), but also wonder if the earlier show would be better so we have time to head out to watch fireworks, etc.

    Cynthia,

On my family's next trip we don't have a choice. It is the early show for us, as we will have a 2 year old in tow. We just can't stay up that late.

HOWEVER, I think that the later evening show is much better. The ambiance is greatly improved by the darker evening hours, as the torch lights, starry sky, and general 'Spirit of Aloha' seems to live more vibrantly at that time.

When I am spending that much money on a meal, I want it to be the focus of the evening. No plans to go elsewhere that would cause me to have to rush from dinner. So worry about fireworks on another night, go to the later Spirit of Aloha show and really feel transported to Hawaii!

Feel free to send me any follow-up questions that I can help with!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
