Hello! Short notice, we are leaving on the Disney Dream on Thurs, Sept 19 for a 3 Night Bahamian Cruise with our 4 and 5 Yr old. Can you tell me the name of a Golf Course and how to get tee times when we are in Nassau?

Welcome aboard, Karen! If your family is anything like mine, you probably have your suitcases open on the floor ready to be packed right now since you're leaving later this week for your Dream cruise! I bet you are very excited!

Disney Cruise Line does offer a Port Adventure in Nassau to the Ocean Club Golf Course at Atlantis. The price is a bit high, but you'll have the security of knowing that Disney takes care of all of the details on this Port Adventure, and your transportation will be very easy! Included in the cost of this Port Adventure are the green fees, clubs, golf cart and shoe rentals, so you don't need to pack anything extra! This golf course is a beautiful one, and is actually home to the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational. Since you are cruising with Disney for only three nights, I highly recommend using Disney's Port Adventures versus going out on your own, as they really do take care of everything for you, and guarantee that you're back to the ship in time. Your children are welcome to stay in the Oceaneer Club and Lab onboard the ship for some fun activities with the counselors there while you're off on your adventure.

I did a little research to locate other golf courses in Nassau, and found that the other golf course on the island, Cable Beach Golf Course, is now closed in preparation for a new Jack Nicklaus golf course that will open next year. I'm sorry I don't have more options for you right now. If you opt not to take the Port Adventure with Disney to Ocean Club Golf Course, I'd suggest asking in the port area as you disembark the ship to see if the locals know of any other suggestions for you, as I'm not finding any further information on other courses, Karen.

Have a wonderful cruise later this week! I hope you enjoy every moment!
