    Are there any shops where you can buy kids halloween costumes (specifically for a boy)?

    Hi Trisha,

    There are princess costumes sold in almost every store at Walt Disney World, but the options for boys are much more limited.

    Typically, you'll find pirate related costumes sold in the Magic Kingdom near the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. There might possibly also be Buzz or Woody costumes sold in the Emporium on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, Mouse Gear at Epcot, or the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney. You could also find a Jedi cape at the store near the Star Wars attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The selection might increase slightly in September and October with special Halloween offerings, but in general the selection for boys is fairly small.

    You will have MUCH better luck shopping at the Disney Store at your local mall or at DisneyStore.com online. During a recent visit to my local store, I saw about two dozen options for boys including themed costumes related to Star Wars, Toy Story, Cars, Pirates, and loads of interesting new Marvel character costumes, even Guardians of the Galaxy costumes. The size range at the Disney Stores is also likely to be larger than the stores in the parks.
