Welcome aboard, Ginger! My family and I love sailing out of
San Diego with Disney Cruise Line. We live in Ohio, but have family in Southern California, so anytime we're out to visit them, if it's during the time of year when the Disney Wonder is sailing from San Diego, you can bet we're adding a cruise to our visit! I was super happy last year when my niece's wedding in San Diego was the day before the Wonder departed for a seven-night sailing to the Mexican Riviera. The resort where she was getting married was right up the street from the port, so we just had to book the sailing that departed the next afternoon!
The
Disney Wonder is the ship that sails out of San Diego from late March through early May and again in October, and it's one of my favorite of Disney's four ships. You'll be happy to know that almost all
staterooms on the Wonder include split baths, with one bathroom having a sink and toilet and the second bathroom another sink and a bath/shower. It's super convenient when all four of us are getting ready at the same time for each night's events, showering after a fun day exploring a new port of call. You'll enjoy this. The Oceanview Staterooms and Oceanview Staterooms with a Verandah will have the tub for sure, and most of the Inside staterooms as well. Just confirm with the agents at Disney Cruise Line when you book your cruise that yours includes this tub, and as I said, most do.
Please stop back and visit us again as you plan for to join Captain Mickey and his crew for a cruise out of San Diego, Ginger! We're happy to help with any other questions and with suggestions and tips!
