Ahoy there, Erin! Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm super excited that you and your crew are looking to plan an amazing Disney Cruise Line vacation!
I've always told everyone who asks me "what's the best thing about a Disney Cruise Line vacation" the same thing: how RELAXING it is. Now, don't get me wrong, I love a trip to Walt Disney World Resort as much as the next Guest, but nothing compares to how relaxed I am when I'm on one of the incredible ships of the Disney Cruise Line fleet!
One of the reasons for that - the storied Disney Cruise Line beds. We get our fair share of questions about them, but this is one of the first I can remember WONDERing about King Beds! I guess when most of the questions about "royalty" revolve around princesses, you sort of get into a groove like Kuzco...
Who, now that I think of it, is an Emperor...but anyway, I digress.
I've got some good news for you! After a bit of sleuthing like the "Midship Detective Agency" itself, I was able to solve the mystery! While most staterooms across the fleet all have queen-sized beds, as of this writing the following two stateroom types have at least one, if not more king-size bed:
Beyond that, the Tower Suite on the Disney Wish not only sleeps 8, but does so with 4.5 bathrooms. Now that's taking the split bath to a whole other level! I know it's elegantly-themed to Moana, but it sure sounds like Kuzcotopia to me. Haha! It's a choice between the newest ship in the fleet and my favorite ship in the fleet, so you really can't go wrong!
Whether you decide to explore the Bahamas on the Disney Wish, or the likes of the California Coast, Alaska, and the Baja peninsula on the Disney Wonder, you're sure to have an amazing adventure! I hope knowing your options for king beds helps you create your short list of itineraries, Erin! Thank you so much for sailing my way with your question, and if any others surface while you continue planning, please drop me another message in a bottle here at planDisney!
Adventure is out there!
