Ahoy. Chesnie!
It's great to hEAR from you! You must be looking forward to a Disney Cruise Line vacation real soon. How exciting! My daughter is counting down to her first sailing as an adult and is also interested in participating in the 1820 Society, which is designed for cruisers between the ages of 18 and 20 yEARs old. All four ships offer an opportunity to participate in the activities and events planned for this group. I highly recommend attending the opening event, which is usually held on the first night of the cruise to meet other young adults onboard. The Cruise Staff Team will share what's planned for the sailing and will get input from the group on what to add to the list. You'll find out when and where to meet either on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or in the Personal Navigator, the paper newsletter you'll receive at check-in.
Chesnie,
adults on Disney Cruise Line get to enjoy some exclusive spaces and activities onboard. Two of my favorite areas, when I cruise, are the Quiet Cove Pool and the Cove Cafe! As for activities, there's adult-only trivia challenges, Krazy Karaoke, games shows, live shows by the Guest entertainers, and of course, dining at
Palo and
Remy (Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy only). And if your cruise visits
Disney Castaway Cay, Serenity Bay offers a beach area just for those 18 and over. Disney Cruise Line truly offers a fabulous vacation experience for Guests of every age.
Thank you for sending in your question, Chesnie. We hope you'll let us know if you think of anything else before you are casting off on your magical voyage with Mickey!
