Congratulations Nicholas!
What a beautiful place to celebrate the start of your
Happily Ever After! Many moons ago, my husband and I did a split honeymoon too - a Caribbean cruise followed by
The Most Magical Place on Earth. It was then that my husband fell in love with The Mouse (I think the
honeymoon Pixie Dust helped)!
It sounds like you are planning to visit the
Planet of Batuu while at Walt Disney World. I know you and your wife will come away with at least
a trinket or two! You mentioned lightsabers in your other question, but make sure to stop by
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. The rotating, eclectic collection has everything from jewelry to rare cyber crystals. I am sure you will find a token to bestow upon your new wife!
If you
don’t mind parting with your treasures while you are in the Parks, you can send them to the front entrance for
convenient pick-up. You can also have them delivered to your
Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Unfortunately, the Parks are unable to ship outside of the United States, but your Resort hotel will be glad to help. Bring your souvenirs to the
Front Desk, and they will assist you with packaging and shipping options.
Since you will be on a
shopping spree, don’t forget
Disney Springs! For classic Disney merchandise, there is no better place than
World of Disney. If you are looking for a unique piece of jewelry, head to the
Pearl Factory, where you can pick-a-pearl from the in-house oysters! Your private celebration will continue at
The Edison. Aerialists, burlesque dancers, and stilt walkers will beckon you to dance into the night as The Pearl Street Players jam out bluesy renditions of old favorites.
Nicholas, I wish you many “Bright Suns” on your Honeymoon!
