Ahoy there Linda, and welcome to planDisney! Your magical vacation on Disney Cruise Line is quickly approaching.
Your ship will usually go by the local time zone, but this is where your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will come in handy. It will tell you when you will be switching time zones. When I have cruised, my dining team has also informed me during dinner that there will be a time change. Everyone wants to make sure you are informed!
Being ready to board a tender at 10:30 local time in
George Town, Grand Cayman is not guaranteed. It will depend on whether the local port authorities clear the ship to let Guests disembark on time. I suggest being ready to disembark early because there will probably be a long line to board a tender. All Guests in your traveling party will need their
Key to the World Card, and Guests 18 years and older will also need a photo ID. Having those with you will keep you from having to return to your stateroom to retrieve them.
I love the longer itineraries on the
Disney Fantasy. On those sea days, there will be numerous
onboard activities, such as watching Funnel Vision by the pool, playing bingo, or riding the
AquaDuck. Linda, I hope you have a great cruise on the high seas. If you have any other questions, come back to visit us on
planDisney.
Happy Sailing!
