I have a curling iron that has 2 lithium ion batteries and charges with a usb cord. Is this allowed aboard the ship?

Hello again, Linda! I bet you are starting to pack for your upcoming magical vacation. Safety is very important to Disney Cruise Line, so I appreciate your question!

Many electrical appliances are prohibited from being brought on board. I am happy to share that curling irons are one exception. Lithium ion batteries can also be brought onboard as long as they haven't been punctured, swollen, or damaged.

There will be a heat mat for your curling iron, Linda. Also, multiple USB outlets are conveniently located in your stateroom to charge your curling iron and other devices.

Senses Spa & Salon also provides some salon services as well as manicure and pedicure services. You can make a reservation during your advance booking window or any time after 1:00 PM on the first day of your cruise.

We are here to help, Linda! Sail back to planDisney any time.

    Bon Voyage!
