Ahoy, Maxine! Thanks for cruising by with your question. We're very glad you're here.
Your
Disney Cruise Line sailing is just a few weeks away, so it's a great idea to tie up any loose planning ends so you have nothing but smooth sailing when you finally arrive at the
Port of Miami. Currently, it is not an option to ship your luggage or packages to your ship or to the port prior to your arrival, but let's see what your options are.
If you'll be staying at a hotel prior to your embarkation day, you may be able to ship a package to the resort and pick it up when you arrive. I know all of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels in
Walt Disney World allow you to send packages ahead of time, so if you'll be staying somewhere in the Miami area before you sail, reach out to your hotel there and see if they'll allow you to send a package on before you get there.
There are also valet services where you can forward your luggage or other packages. You'll arrange with those services to drop your luggage off to you at the port, or you can take an Uber to one of their pick-up locations. Just do a Google search for luggage forwarding services, and make sure you read reviews and reach out to them to make sure they can handle the items you are planning to ship.
I hope this makes traveling to Miami a little bit easier for you, Maxine. You've got characters to meet, buffets to eat, and a whole lot more cruise fun to focus on!
