Hello there, Liam! Welcome to planDisney. I completely understand how important it is to bring your lightsaber safely back from
Black Spire Outpost. When a Jedi completes their training, that saber becomes more than just a souvenir. It’s a symbol of their journey. Let’s make sure yours makes it home safely.
When it comes to international shipping, there’s a bit of a challenge. Lightsabers crafted at
Savi’s Workshop can only be shipped domestically within the U.S. through USPS. If you’d like to send yours abroad, you’d need to work with third-party carriers like UPS or FedEx near the Anaheim area to arrange that delivery.
If that feels more like navigating the Kessel Run than you’d prefer, I do have another option. The lightsaber is designed to break down into two main pieces: the hilt and the blade. The blade itself is about 31 inches, and the hilt (depending on which emitters, sleeves, pommel caps, and plates your Padawan selects) usually measures between 10 and 13 inches. Once you disassemble the saber and tuck it into the included carrying case, you’re looking at roughly 50 inches total. Knowing these dimensions should help you strategize how to fit it in your luggage for the return trip. As someone who’s carried my own saber across the galaxy, I can confirm this method works smoothly.
And while you’re at Black Spire Outpost, you might want to leave a little space in that luggage for other treasures.
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities is brimming with relics from every corner of the galaxy. From holocrons to legacy sabers once wielded by heroes and villains alike, it’s the sort of place even a seasoned smuggler would pause to admire. A small tip from me: glance upward while browsing. Dok-Ondar has tucked away some clever Easter eggs, including nods to a certain Gungan.
Liam, I hope this helps you feel ready for your upcoming mission. And remember, should you have more questions as your adventure approaches, we’re only a transmission away here at planDisney.
May the Force guide you safely home, saber in hand.
David
