Can I ship gifts from emporium back home?

Hiya, Beverly! Welcome to planDisney. Your Walt Disney World Resort adventure is just around the riverbend, so let's talk about one of my favorite theme park activities: Shopping! But what do you do with all your magical parcels after you buy them? Let's look at strategies to enjoy your theme park visit unencumbered.

Magic Kingdom Park is a fabulous spot to shop. The Emporium on Main Street, USA, is my go-to for souvenirs. Since I live near Orlando, I don't typically ship items home. I usually wait to shop as I leave the park, so I only have to carry my treasures to my car! But I have shipped items, so let's discuss how the process typically works.

When you check out at the Emporium, let the Cast Member know you want to ship your merchandise home. They'll use your address to determine shipping and handling costs so you can decide if you'd like to set it up. You'll receive a paper receipt and tracking information, but I've found it easier to contact Merchandise Guest Services at 1-877-560-6477 for details about when my packages will arrive.

I recently bought two Mickey Mouse Icon Homestead Throw Pillows at Panchito's Gifts and Sundries in Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. They were adorable but large! I wanted to avoid carrying them during my flight home, and there was no way they'd fit inside my suitcase. The Cast Members at the shop provided a shipping quote and took care of my pillows. My package arrived about ten days later; talk about magical mail!

Beverly, I'm sending pixie dust and hoping you find the perfect mementos to commemorate your upcoming visit. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
