Bright suns, Melissa!
Welcome to the planDisney galaxy! It's wonderful to speak with a fellow Jedi on her travels. It sounds like you are planning on constructing your own astromech unit at
Savi's Workshop when you make your pilgrimage to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! Thank the maker you reached out to us to ensure that your travel plans run smoothly for your next visit.
Yes, lightsabers and droids acquired at the Disneyland Resort can ship if you present a receipt to your merchant. The same goes for anything else you would want shipped from the resort. If you prefer to bring it on your starship, I'd recommend stowing them as carry-on items to be on the safe side (and not The Dark Side, of course). You can purchase one of those handy protective cases they sell at
Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. Or, my pal,
Panelist Al once received a tip from a Cast Member suggesting a pool noodle, which is quite similar to those cases in terms of protection!
Once you return to your home planet, don't forget to download the
Droid Depot app. It allows you to create virtual paths for your droid at home, play fun games with it, and even program it to groove to DJ R3X's tunes!
If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to send us another transmission.
May the Force be with you!
'Til the Spires!
