Hi Angela!
Welcome back to planDisney. I'm so glad to hear you'll be visiting with your sister! I haven't been able to do that since my sister and I were children, but I'd just love the chance to visit with her again someday soon. I believe you are referring to the credit offered as part of the
2024 Early Booker Package. This is a most delicious additional bonus to an already magical resort stay. I'm happy to help go over your options so let's dig in!
The
Dining and Merchandise Credit will be sent electronically to the email address associated with your Disney Resort Collection hotel reservation once you've arrived. I'm not sure whether that means you or your sister will be receiving the digital card, so just double-check which email address is on file in advance of your visit so you're prepared to take a bite out of all the incredible dining options and shopping that await at
Walt Disney World Resort.
I double-checked with a friendly Cast Member who confirmed that the credit will all come as one digital card and unfortunately, can't be split it into separate amounts. But not to worry if you and your sister, like Anna and Elsa, don't plan to spend all your time together. Even if you won't be finishing each other's sandwiches at the same dining venue, you'll still be able to head into the unknown and explore your own culinary path or shop to your heart's delight across the North Mountain-sized list of eligible locations. You can
review the complete list of participating locations on pages 2-5 of this handy guide.
Since the card will be delivered electronically you have the option to print two copies to use when checking out all eligible locations. You can also add the card to your phone's wallet, or keep the barcode handy via email or saved photo on your device. Cast Members will scan the barcode to apply the credit at the time of purchase, so keep in mind that this credit cannot be used for items charged directly to your room.
I'd recommend keeping a running tally of your transactions each day to make sure both you and your sister have equitable access to the credit. Even if one of you declares "Let it go!" and accidentally goes over budget, I'm sure you'll remember to do the next right thing and pick up the next tab. Remember, an act of true love will thaw a frozen heart, but a Mickey-shaped pretzel or a new pair of Minnie ears are sure to help things along.
Angela, I hope this was helpful. If we can answer any additional questions please don't hesitate to stop back and let us know.
Wishing you a magical visit,
Amy
